Hi all, it's been a while!

My need for adrenaline got me in trouble again. I took a nasty spill while downhill mountain biking injuring my leg, ankle and shoulder.

The good news is I was cleared to train again a few weeks ago, and today I was cleared for Swings and TGUs. I'm starting back with S&S as the staple of my training. It's disheartening how challenging the 24kg bell feels right now. I'm going to double check my ownage of the 20kg, and get my form grooved again, and then march through to owning the 24.

So that's where I'm at, trying to own the 24kg in S&S and rebuilding my strength and conditioning base. Words of encouragement and sage-like advice about returning from a training layoff would be highly appreciated!

What's the point on being strong from S&S if you don't get to use it for fun things like downhill biking?

Here I am starting slowly after a football injury. I feel your pain, but I enjoyed the football!

Enjoy the process; celebrate the healing. Welcome back. :)
