As a member of leadership in StrongFirst she teaches at SF certifications and courses around the world. Owner, Co-Founder, and Head Instructor at Rapid Results Fitness located in Durham, NC. Rapid Results Fitness is a StrongFirst accredited gym specializing in group kettlebell training classes and personal training also utilizing barbells, bodyweight training, Battling Ropes as well as Functional Movement Screening and joint mobility work.

Betsy is a Senior SFG (appointed by Pavel Tsatsouline), for StrongFirst, a School of Strength for all things kettlebells, barbells, and bodyweight training. She is also SFG I and II, SFB(Bodyweight) and SFL(Barbell) StrongFirst certified which means she carries the StrongFirst Certified Elite Instructor title and can teach kettlebell, bodyweight, and barbell course and certifications for StrongFirst.

She is also certified in Z Health Level I, a Level II Battling Ropes Coach, and certified through NASM to teach Group Fitness, and Personal Training. As a StrongFirst Certified Senior Instructor and Owner of Rapid Results Fitness she trains all walks of life from housewife, to collegiate athlete, to grandfather, to the military and everything in between.

In addition, she instructs at StrongFirst Certifications and Courses that are taught throughout the year in various states and around the world.
One of her proudest instructor moments was when she was appointed by Pavel Tsatsouline, along with 9 other instructors to train the Navy SEALs in Kettlebell training.

Her mission in training others is to teach proper body mechanics, improve movement patterns, build strength, and prevent injury with the goal of creating resilient bodies for life!

Betsy is a terrific coach. The tips she gave me on virtually every kettlebell movement were instrumental in enabling me to get over the plateaus I'd reached by relying on my instincts and (in retrospect) truly awful form. She has a deep understanding of the SFG principles and is able to personalize those to what I need as a client. She was even able to coach me very effectively through a Zoom meeting. I am planning on pursuing my SFG 1 this summer and would never have been able to feel ready for that challenge without Betsy's help.

Betsy has been instrumental in prepping me for the upcoming SFG Level 1 certification. Prior to showing up, I had worked with kettlebells for years, but my form had not be thoroughly evaluated to address any possible mechanical fixes needing to be addressed. So far, few months after first being evaluated, my form has progressed immensely and I feel very confident going into SFG Level 1 on all fundamental movements--squat, snatch, clean and press, Turkish Get up. Once I've earned my first certification, I will most definitely be returning to Betsy for additional assistance on more advanced kettlebell exercises. Unlike previous trainers, she was able to pick apart fixes in my form that needed to happen and any strength/compensation problems. Look forward to working with her in the future. I have been kettlebell training with Betsy for 8 years. I had never lifted weights, but was trying to stave off osteoporosis and heard that weight bearing exercise was helpful. Kettlebell training with Betsy has been one of the best things I have ever done for myself! I first met Betsy at the 8 hr. KB class she held at RRF. I had been " messing around " with kettlebells for some time, and felt it was time to learn how use them correctly. That class was great. I had the pleasure of being part of the SFG course instructed by Betsy at Lisle, IL. I have been exercising with KBs on & off from 2008, though I have become more active for the last 2 years. I follow most of the content from Pavel regularly and have started using the "Simple & Sinister" program (which I love). But, when I came across this class I was sure I will be learning quite a few things that I am missing in my workouts and correctly so, it was a great learning experience. Betsy's attention to details, her knowledge, passion and humor were amazing. She had the same energy until the last minute of the class as in the morning in our 8-hour day.Unbelievable!
She was patient & kind to hear all our questions, feedback and provided very useful tips according to our needs.

I came to kbs, RRF and to Betsy as an endurance athlete looking for strength training to compliment my running schedule and training. In the past, I had experienced injuries attributed to a weak core, and a fellow triathlete had recommended Betsy and kbs as a great core workout. Although the gym recommends a plan of kbs two to three times a week, I only attended once a week as a cross-training day. Even with that limited practice, I could tell a difference in my running pretty quickly. I also made it through a marathon training cycle injury free and with a shiny new PR that I attribute in part to kb training.

At RRF and with Betsy, the focus is always on proper form. One of the things that I really love about Betsy as a trainer is her dedication to educating those in her class about why form is so important, and how these exercises are benefiting us. I feel that I leave class with a great workout, but also with a better view as to how to exercise!

I've been going to Rapid Results Fitness for more than three years, and I can honestly say it is the best exercise class I've ever attended. Betsy teaches to the individual, while managing to keep an entire class of students at different levels very engaged. The routines vary every time; there is always something new to learn. Betsy is always patient, but will never let us get away with "poor form", especially from a safety perspective. I'm almost 50 years old, and I have never been fitter in my life. I love kettlebells, and look forward to every session.
