APRIL 23, 2016 TSC Results
The old saying goes, “If you don’t know where you’re going, any road will get you there.” Training is no different. If you lack a specific goal, the time you spend training may easily become a collection of random acts.
The StrongFirst Tactical Strength Challenge is a goal worthy of your efforts.
Preparing for a max deadlift, a maximum number of pullups and maximum repetitions of a kettlebell snatch places a demand and requires your focus on all three types of strength training; maximal strength, bodyweight strength and cardio-vascular endurance.
The rules are simple, the training is hard, but the opportunity to say you faced the Tactical Strength Challenge and survived makes it all worthwhile.
Create your own team, inspire your students, clients, friends and family to participate, or host an event and do it ALL. Join us to compete in the Tactical Strength Challenge with other members of the StrongFirst community from around the world.
REGISTER TO COMPETE
Register as a competitor and set up a profile with login information.
Once you have registered and signed up for your event, please be sure to watch the standards video posted on the site and become familiar with the rules for the event.
Please direct any questions on standards and rules to the overseeing SFG of the facility or the contact form on the website.
If you don’t see a facility in your area but are a current SFG or know one who would be interested in hosting, let’s get a facility in your area registered.
REGISTER AS A TSC LOCATION
If you want to compete but there isn’t an approved TSC facility in your immediate area, you have a few options. The first is to register to host the event yourself. The only requirement to this is that an SFG must be present as THE contact person for the event and proper equipment must be provided (a pull-up bar, a suitable place for deadlifts, kettlebells, barbell(s), and plates. If there are competitors in the elite division, you will also need a belt for weighted pull-ups). If you are not currently an SFG, there are a great many across the world that would be more than willing to help facilitate hosting an event.
