Tried so hard for <30 minutes, so close now, maybe on the last day I might just manage it.

Almost there! The progress in times have been amazing! How is the Achilles tendonitis faring up?

Not bad, I keep doing calf raises on the stairs in hopes it helps strengthen the joint. Hoping to have a run this week and start 10k training next week. Currently looking for some program which will increase my running times whilst maintaining KB strength.

I don't know how much of a carryover this would have compared to getting out and running, but it would definitely give you strength endurance and a good base while maintaining KB strength... :)

Running 6.1km 41:57 mins.
Few 32kg Get-ups.

Hilly run, took it very steady.

DONE 10'000 SWINGS! Put finishing this off a bit. Gotta say the 4th week is definitely the hardest for me, weeks 2 and 3 were pretty smooth, and week 1 was hard. Tried to shoot for below 30 minutes, and was on target the first 4 rounds, I started the last round at around 23 mins in, but I was already so spent the last round took almost 10 minutes. Pretty happy with what I got from the program though. Weight stayed around the same, may of gained maybe a pound or so, started at consistently just below 14st and now I'm consistently just over 14st, still got semi-visible abs so I'm happy.

I want to be running more really, got 8 weeks to prepare, so looking for something that combines running 3-4 times a week and maybe 1-3 times a week doing some kettlebell stuff. Will probably just wing it.

Awesome! Strong work! :)

I bet you'll be happy to take it a bit easier on the swings for a bit ;)

Yea, can beat getting out and running! I hope your Achilles tendinitis doesn't give you too much grief. There's definitely some good plans out there that can "run" (pun not intended but it works ;)) along side your training.

Today
~25 mins cycling
Parkrun 5k 32:40 mins
~25 mins cycling
a couple hours of hard labour

Parkrun was very muddy, the times for everyone are usually quite a bit slower, and in the 1st kilometer my legs felt very tired, don't think I'm recovered from the 10k swing challenge yet. Followed this up by doing some DIY construction work, which involved quite a bit of heavy lifting, and swinging a pickaxe, wouldn't of been bad if I wasn't already so exhausted from training.
