Agreed. I used My Fitness Pal to estimate my base metabilism and programmed for a 1 pound per week loss (500 Kcal less than maintenance). Inreality, I have averaged slightly over 1.25 pounds per week for almost 6 months that way.Usual citation is 250-500 calories of deficit per day - you might not be cutting back enough.

Here I ment I feel hungry quite often. Which makes it hard. When I'm without a job I can cut back easily to 1900, workout more, and lose fat without much hunger at all.usually im at about 3.000 kcals trying to get dow .to 2700 kcals daily (avarage) but my body really fights this.
