Only Comedies for the Quarantine movie review.
Last night we watched Step Brothers.
I give it a Quarantine A. Fluffy and fun. Don't have to think. I fell asleep for awhile, woke up and still followed the plot.

Tonight...

I wish I could get a bench press.
If I had a bag of money, I would really love a stair master or step mill.

Are stair masters still "in"? I thought those were a thing of the 90s...

Anyone try rebounding? Thinking of getting my 3 year old a mini trampoline

The UK got its orders to lock down yesterday evening.

I've been forcing myself to revisit Skyrim and to try to read more because over the last few days I've spent more time exercising at home than I have in years (possibly ever) and my abs are sore as anything and I'm sure I'm not actually doing myself any good. But what I wouldn't give for an Eleiko weightlifting set and platform!

I was also planning on sticking my guitar and bass guitar on eBay before all this but didn't get around to it. Now might be the time to write an album. If anyone at StrongFirst would like to comission some royalty-free heavy metal, give me a shout.

Anyone feel like starting a remote Dungeons & Dragons group?

I'm sitting in my house, looking out my window.
Time to poke the bear.
Stair masters rock!
:)
Don't make me come over there... oh wait ... SD... you are lucky...

Seriously though... the step falls away from you when you stand up on it, not mimicking real stair climbing or uphill movement in any way whatsoever.

If you want a better option go with box steps. Get a 12" box. Step up. Step down. Do 3,000 of these in an hour and report back...

Ordered a 44 kg kettlebell yesterday, having ordered a few mats last week. I think my balcony will remain the place for kettlebell swings for a while. I am supposed to read quite a bit of law nowadays, but have found some Jack London classics far more interesting.

*lol*
is @LoriLifts still stepping up and down?? ??

@LoriLifts, a real simple one: swing the bell of your choice on the starting side of your choice for the number of reps of your choice. Change the last swing into a clean, then press the bell overhead. Then rack the bell and do the number of front squats of your choice with it. Then switch sides. Then keep going.

E.g., 5 swings, 1 press, 2 FSQ. You can rest in the rack position before the press, after the press and before the FSQ, between the FSQ reps, or after you put the bell down before you start the other side.
