Ab wheel got some mention here

Best strength exercises for minimal routine for older folk to combat sarcopenia and slowing down

but I thought this a more appropriate forum to post this:

I got this rig about 10 years ago and still loving it

AKRO Ab Wheel

Benefit comes from having hands independent of each other. Right off, for the standard, up the middle roll out, you can get a much more comfortable shoulder angle. Also, the separation allows for all sorts of variations. Currently I am on my knees, literally and figuratively, working on one arm roll outs (I'm using the off hand as a "cheat"/support). Rolling at a slightly cross body angle with the loaded hand really lights up the obliques!

Does not look fun to me, but does look like time well spent.

Ab wheels of all kinds are definitely the 'wolf in sheep's clothing' of the fitness equipment world. These ones look... effective.

I'm wondering if you could get away with doing similar exercises on those crazy expensive Eleiko revolving dumbbells.

Might be a bit easier if they didn't have all those flat spots around the perimeter of the weight. You can pretty easily DIY too using something like lawnmower wheels on short axels.

@watchnerd's family knows the drill during gift giving times. " Just get him an Eleiko Gift Card."

I'm just pissed we can no longer get most of the athletic clothing in USA.

I had to order my Eleiko tights and knee sleeves direct from Europe; now the USA distributor doesn't allow that end-run anymore.

They're basically mini barbells.
Yes. Excellent.
I'm going to microload them with some pink washers so I can hear Pavel scoff.
Yes, excellent. Then follow that up by taking the rubber base off a couple yuppie Apollo bells ( like I have ) and load mini barbell with those since they look like tiny yuppie plates. Send him pic of that while eating chicken.
