Hey everyone. Found kettlebells this year due to some nagging injuries with barbell work. Planned on just a few weeks with my cheap adjustable KB but I was bitten by the bug and felt compelled to keep going. Purchased S&S, 24kg, 32kg, and committed to reaching Simple before moving on.

Spent about 8 weeks going from 16kg to 24kg. Started step loading in the 32kg when I tweaked my injury. I knew deep down I was rushing to Simple and the 32kg revealed my weakness which I believe is form. Took a bit off and backing down to using only the 24kg until I truly own it.

There are no close SFG instructors so I am hoping to use this forum for some help on my swings.

Much respect for the community and I appreciate it in advance.

Is there supposed to be a video link? Thx.

Hey Steve,

Yes unfortunately I didnt read the sticky well enough and didnt realize you couldn't post videos directly. I dont have a way to link them since I dont have YouTube or anything.

The year is 2021. :) You can post your video in Google docs or YouTube or Vimeo or dropbox or, I’m sure, many other places as well. I know for a fact that YouTube and Google docs are both free. Just set up something for yourself and then post the link here.

These are pretty good .

The only thing I'd work on is standing tall at the top.

One way to ensure that happens is to swing lower (if you swing below shoulder height you still get a pass)

Where are you located? I remember you saying there aren't many instructors in your area?
