Always Be Smashing

Increasing bodyweight continues to be an issue, particularly with weekends now liberally sprinkled with holiday parties. Feeling very strong right now... but, also feeling very heavy.
Holidays are tough for easy gainers, we were at a party recently and I ate some sugary cookies with pumpkin pie.. it gave me a sugar hangover the next morning.. crap feeling.

Same to all of this… my wife worked a 24 hour shift at the hospital last weekend and i was like a bad dog that ate all the candy when she got home. My digestive system just recovered.
Our neighbors are Brazilian, they gave us some special chocolate concoction recently. I can brush off cakes, cupcakes, pie and many other sugary foods but when it comes to chocolate it gets much harder. I'm a sucker for chocolate, though I stopped at 3 pieces yesterday I could have easily ate all of it.

Thanks, sir. Felt good to see that I can still go 1hr+ without collapsing.

Them kiddos (2-legged or 4-legged) do take bite out of the training time, don't they.
I need to get some longer runs in as well, my girl got me a percussion gun for Xmas. I used it this morning on my sticky IT/hamstring sliding surfaces. Will see what it does for calf action after regular use.

The not so little fella just turned 8 mos old and is 80+ lbs now.. strong as an ox. We've put in 120-150 mi a month for the last 5 mos. His name's Buddha, he's a wolf dog, I call him Muscle Boy haha

Nice session! 160 swings with 48k.. I'd be in a wheelchair the next day, if I could do it.. and that's a big if haha

Thank you, sir! I have to admit, even though I didn't need a wheelchair, I was feeling some all-around fatigue the next day. My HR just wouldn't stay down on my run, ended up having to drop down to a walk at the end.

So, today, in addition to a horrific murder spree that happened in my home state, a huge brush fire destroyed a mass of homes in a suburb a few miles from my house.

Wasn't 2021 supposed to be better than 2020? Doesn't matter how strong you are if you get shot, or the world catches fire.
