This is from last weekend's max effort work. I worked up to a 'heavy' single of 335lb. Shown in the video is the first rep from every set. I edited it this way to compare reps. I don't know if it's enlightening at all, but the wonky rep w. 275 was REALLY wonky and I'm glad I filmed it.



Do you have some kind of shoulder harness on or is that just part of the Hydra shirt?
 
Will you join us and do 140 kg overhead squat ? ;)

The biggest OHSQ I've done recently is 110 kg.

I don't know which would take me longer, adding 30 kg to my OHSQ, or hitting 200 kg on my BSQ (current 5RM is 153 kg).

Interesting question given that my legs wouldn't be the limiting factor on OHSQ.

Either way, it certainly wouldn't be by end of this year.

But first I'd need to be able to jerk that much, using a snatch grip. Dunno about that part...

Lifetime PR for jerk was 147 kg and that was when I was <50 years old.
