Kettlebell Geoff Neupert asks for beta testers for THE GiANT X and KETTLEBELL MAXIMORUM

I've chosen the Giant X program. To be honest I was more interested in het Maximorum program, but at the moment I can't manage 4 sessions a week. I hope when the program is released by the end of Q2 2023, like Geoff states, I will have more time and be able to do the program.
For now I'm happy with Giant X. Only question is: Do I start with X1, X2 or X3? X3 feels like a follow-up to X1. X2 feels different, but maybe also a bit easier (not easy). In the past I only did The Giant 1.0.
What would be the best program to start with? Altough I think all 3 will give great results.

I want to sign up. But, I want to commit to sinister by or on my 48th birthrite day. 48 on 48. I was tempted to sign up for maximorum, but I'm not a fan of snatches. I'm more of a clean and pushpress/press and squat guy. I'll probably kick myself in the a#@ for not signing up for something

Maximorum here too.

Will start mid-Dec once I return from SFB italy.

First thought: This actually could look like a good base-program to build up to the SFG2.

Obviously it doesn't have all the technical 'odd' lifts like bent press and windmills, but if you simply train those movement patterns on off-days via mobility drills and no weight (or 8kg bells), it should get you pretty close to ready (I think).

Anyways: really excited to get started on this.
I include Bent press in my warm ups if not part of the program I'm running. Much lower weight ( 24kg ) for 3 reps 2 or 3 x L&R just to keep the movement.
I started Maximorum tonight , nice to get back to 1 arm snatching.

Signed up for giant x plan 2 figured this will help keep me accountable, and like the slight variety of the plan

Luckily!!

Kettlebell increments still annoy me, because they're still rooted in poods.

I get mildly irked that my KBs move up in units of 4 kg instead of more sensible 5 kg.

e.g.

My bells go 8,12,16,20,24,28,32,36,40

I'd much prefer 10,15, 20, 25, etc.

You have a good solution for that, adjudtable conpetition kettlenells, I have four my self. The go from 12 to 32 in 1kg increments.

I’m going for X2 only because I’ve run the Giant with only clean and press for almost 2 years. I’m looking forward to running it with seasaw presses.

Geoff must be watching this thread, as I got an email (clearly also sent to many) that addressed some of the questions raised here.

So now that it's clear I can start in Dec/Jan and still get the feedback in by March, I pulled the trigger on Giant X.

I started Giant X yesterday.

I plan to do the full 24 weeks of the program.

I have not received an email about when to report results.

Was there anything in GN's email about reporting results if one plans to do all 3 phases of Giant X?

I did see this thread, but I have about 100 emails in my inbox asking me all these questions.

This was in the mail I received:

"Q2) What are the schedule parameters: latest date to start the testing and so on. For me it would be great to start in January 2023. So I'll run my actual program to the end.

A: My desire is to have people start ASAP and get feedback by mid-January for 'THE GIANT X' and mid-February for Kettlebell MAXIMORUM - early March by the latest.

But I understand people are finishing up current programs. So I'm ok with a small trickle throughout Q1 and into Q2 as long as the bulk of the results are in.

Q3) I'm finishing up another program and can't start until December/ January. Will this work?

'THE GIANT X' programs are 8 weeks. If everything goes according to plan, I'll launch them by the end of Q1, so as long as you get your results to me by early March, we'll be fine."

If I read this correct, Geoff wants our results from the first Giant X Program we do. And we can choose ourselves if we do X1, X2 or X3.
