I have generally built up my kettelbell collection through Gumtree and eBay but fancy investing in better kbells with rhe SFG later in the year. Based on the SFG Facebook page it seems that the cert is completed wits Wolverson Black edition bells. Has anyone used them and how do thry comapre to ROGUE bells? Are Rogue bells only available in the US??
Thanks

Wolverson are the best I have found in the UK. Their ebay shop is cheaper than on line.

A good alternative is Bodymax which are really good value from Amazon. The handles on these are a bit shiny and I like to take the gloss off with a fine sandpaper but the dimensions and handle shape works well for me.

How have you got on with the clearance between the bell with the wolverson? I've heard they've got quite a bit of space between the handle and bell.

I've got a 2 x 20 kg and a 32 kg Wolverson. The handle spacing works fine for me for snatches (20 kg) and C+P and get-ups (20 or 32).

Equally the Bodymax (16, 24, 28 kg) bell handles work for snatches and get-ups for me. I've had to sand the 24 kg handle pretty extensively.

I also have a 40 kg Jordan bell which was the only one I could find at the time. I don't like that as much - base not flat - handle needed work - real buyer's remorse, and it wasn't even cheap.

I'm glad I saw this post: I ordered a Wolverson 24kg 'bell over the phone with them today for a total of £68.49 including shipping when I could have bought it from eBay for £44.79 with shipping for free!

Very strange. I'll have to cancel my phone order and re-order via eBay, unless I can persuade them to just refund the price difference to avoid the hassle.

Yes got to thabk @krg for this wisdom as it saved me a lot on buying my 28kg recently :)

Most definitely! Fortunately, they were quite happy to refund me the difference in cost between my telephone order and the ebay price. @krg, I owe you a beer, coffee or whatever's your poison.

My 24kg kettlebell arrived just a few minutes ago and it's a beautiful thing (in a utilitarian, almost medieval sort of way, of course).

I just bought my first PerformBetter bell - very happy with it.

@Steve Freides
the Perform Better KBs are the ones that you can buy in the SF store right?
And they got rid of the rubber thing at the bottom correct?

They look like very high quality and I'd badly like to try one out. Even more so when I saw that Perform Better USA sells them up to 60Kg in 4Kg steps.
The bad thing is you can't get them here in Germany (or Europe as a whole)...
E.g. Perform Better Germany only sells the old First Place KBs with the rubber bottom and only up to 24Kg...

There is no rubber thing on this one - I bought it from Phil, not from here directly, so I don't know what the choices are, but mine is just flat metal on the bottom.
