I looked before in the forum and found some similar questions, but none really answered what a i wanted to know, so I decided to create this new thread. Let's cut to the chase:
My schedule for the last six weeks (I'm in my seventh) has been this:
M, T, T, F - PTP

I am at a point where I can actually max out at: ~40 pushups, ~10 pull-ups, ~15 dips
I am training mostly for hypertrophy but, I want to get to some good strength levels at the basics. So the goal here is:
~50 pushups, >15 pull-ups, >20 dips.
So My Question is: what will help me for best...
So far in my life, there are have only been 2 times when I had visible abs: High School (Running Cross Country/Track and Field while doing "8 minute abs everyday), and College (I was breakdancing and that was literally my only form of exercise .... I highly recommend if you have the time. You...
Os and I just did a really fun podcast that I think the SF community would be interested in. Here is the Spotify Podcast link, and here is the Apple Podcast link.
Makes me want to do more fitness focused podcast :) Let me know your thoughts.
I'm in the military and we typically only get 8 hours dedicated to sleep. But it obviously takes a little time to fall asleep and you need to wake up a little earlier so that you can shave, brush your teeth, and make it to PT 15 minutes early. So you're getting about 6 1/2 to 7 hours of sleep a...
Hi.
Recently I've spent some time watching YouTube interviews with Dr. Stuart McGill on back pain.
At one point in an interview with Chris Williamson he answered a very interesting question. Chris asked if its theoretically possible for an individual to train to be both an advanced Yogi who...

Any thoughts on walking during long rests in between strength sets? I’m not a purist/specialist, so I like to develop good all around fitness and was wondering about this combo. Any thoughts on walking on a treadmill during long rests between sets? I have a treadmill at home and can do heavy...
Greetings all. I have viewed this forum for a few years and loved getting tips and tricks from the wealth of knowledge our members have. My wife and I are expecting our first child this fall. I know sleep will be limited and energy will not be as steady or high for me as it currently is. I am in...
There is a Crossfit WOD called Shawn that I've been interested in doing since I first heard about it. Basically, you run 5 miles, but after each 5-minute interval you have to do 50 pushups and 50 air squats. I've trained for strength for many years. I've also run 10 miles before, but never...
I have recently gotten to 20 sets of 10 kb swings with 72lbs. This is the heaviest I have access to. I am planning to maintain my swings and keep perfect form by doing 10x10 and TGU’s like S&S (I have achieved (m)simple, @120lbs body weight)
I am considering doing snatches, but not snatches for...

I apologise in advance if this has already been posted on here. I searched online but could not find a direct answer.
I currently follow the programming of Ross Enamait. It basically looks like this:

Day 2: Interval Running and Core Training.
Day 3...
Straight-arm strength vs bent-arm strength.
Vertical pulling vs horizontal pulling.
Rotational strength vs explosive strength.
One-arm vs bilateral.
I know the answer is ultimately 'it depends', followed by 'what are your goals', but come on. We can paint with some broad strokes occasionally...
Is it possible to gain both strength and size by using kettlebells and barbells at the same time? I apologize if this is a silly question, but from what I gather so far it seems like kettlebells are great for gaining strength without completely destroying your muscles in the process. I wonder if...
