Kettlebell Interesting S&S Benefit (BJJ)

I just thought I'd share what happened to me last night. Last night was my first BJJ session for about 14 weeks due to lockdown. In that time the only exercise I've done is S&S 4 to 6 days per week. I went in doing sets of 16 24 16 16 16 and are currently doing 24 28 28 24 24.

Anyhow I had three training partners actually make comments about my strength one saying words to the effect of "wtf have you been doing". I also hit this cool move that is very similar to a TGU on a much bigger guy way easier than I should have. He was going over and I literally thought to myself "well all those get ups just came through for me".

I can't wait to see how I feel around Xmas time as I start to approach Simple ?
 
Agreed! That extra height you get with your hood makes all the difference.
