Snatch Test Weight: 16kg
Time: 4:55
Heart Rate: 149bpm-162bpm

Just recorded some heart rate data while I was attemping a 16kg snatch test today.

I barely made it within the 5 minute mark, and my heart rate during the test was pretty much between 149bpm - 162bpm. I imagine to I would want to work on getting my heart rate down so I'm not taxing myself so hard.

After the snatch test I did some 24kg getups 1x5 on each arm. Heart rate was around 111-123 bpm during that time.

Finished with 24kg reverse lunges where heart rate went back up to 148bpm-153bpm.

Good session. Yes, I find that HR is a metric that can be motivational. Although you can't work directly on getting your HR down, this will happen through effective training and it's nice to see it and be able to measure and compare it when it does.
