@kennycro@@aol.com, the kettlebell ballistic for reps is, in my non-scientific opinion, magic. There is nothing better for the general population than to swing a kettlebell. There is no better single exercise to do in the absence of all other exercise, and it makes a fine part of many programs as well.
Why? I don’t know, but it’s a fact I’ve heard, seen, and read about too many times to ignore for lack of a proper explanation. Whether or not doing it in some other fashion supports a particular training goals is a separate question entirely.
