After introducing at least some folks to Becherovka (my thanks again to @Pavel Macek for bringing this delightful spirit to my attention), I now bring you:


I am drinking some now. Technically, Retsina is a "wine style." It is an acquired taste that, apparently, not many people acquire.

Excellent drink, especially to go with Greek cuisine….
 
I love retsina!

But nobody else in my circle of friends and family shares my taste.

The pine resin origins are pretty interesting.

The pine resin taste is relatively mild in the bottle I bought yesterday, and I disappointed. I was looking forward to something a bit stronger.
