I am thinking of doing:

Day 1 Bench, Squat
Day 2 Press, Rack Pull

What is your plan looks like in terms of specialized variety lifts ?

I might only be able to do one of them per work out plus a pull, maybe something like this:

Day 1 Bench, Front Squat, Narrow Bench, Abs
Day 2 Press, Rack Pull, One Arm KB Press, Yate Row

What do you think? Thanks!

I finished a block on OHP on the Reload v2 program, but I basically ran it without the light sessions, ie I did #1-8 in a row. No specialised lifts, I did deadlifts on a 5/3/1 alongside the OHP. Pullups were added some days, depending mainly on how the deadlifts left my grips.

V happy with the results. Session #4 was ok, #5 toughest as expected, but the rest were a breeze and I put on 5kg on my OHP in 4 weeks.

Only 2 weeks into it. Only doing one variety lift of an unrelated (mostly) muscle group during the rest of the main lift.

Main Lift [Variety Lift During Rest] [alternative variety lifts of future weeks]

Day 1

Squat [V-Grip Pull-Down] [Chin-Up] [Pendlay Row] [Renegade Row]
Bench Press [Ab Roll Out] [Leg Raise] [Zercher Squat] [Good Morning]

Day 2
Military Press [Light Romanian DL] [Front Squat] [Light Sumo DL]
Conventional DL [Pull-Up] [Incline DB Press] [Dragon Flag]

A question for all.

Fabio states to take a minimum of 2.5 minutes rest in-between sets, does this apply to the main lift only or all lifts as presented? My concern is that if one performed the strength+hypertrophy program you would be in the gym 2+ hours.

@Bro Mo
I noticed you stated that you performed the SV lift during your rest period for the main lift, how did that work for you?

It seems to be working fine so far. It would probably even be fine to work the SV lift that directly related to the main movement almost like a post activation potentiation attempt. If doing that though, I would rest a little more between sets.

2 days
1. deadlift, barbell good morning
2. bench press, dumbbell bench press

All kb work in between during the week. Feels great
