Kettlebell Axe and Novocaine Training

Reading the AXE book over the past few days it seems that it would blend extremely well into the Novocaine templete. For review, the Novocaine days are:
Session 1: S&S + Strength
Session 2: LISS
Session 3: Q&D
Session 4: LISS
Session 5: S&S + Strength
Session 6: A+A
Session 7: LISS

The goal is to do the program and the strength supplement. Obviously AXE would fit in Sessions 6, but if one wanted to add one more AXE session, how would be the best way to work it in?

The idea behind the original template is to get 4:2:1 ratio of aerobic capacity, alactic capacity, and lactic power training while following a sort of M, H, M, L schedule for non-LISS sessions.

The last few microcycles of my training log depict a periodization of sessions from alactic power shifting toward alactic capacity and lactic power.

The OG KB schedule:
  • Session 1 & 5: 10s (S&S)
  • Session 3: cluster 20s (Q&D 033)
  • Session 6: 5s (A+A)
To shift down a gear:
  • Session 1 & 5: ~5s (AXE)
  • Session 3: 10s (S&S, 015, etc)
  • Session 6: 3s (C&J plan A)
