The Best Hip Hinge Exercise

I'll add my personal opinion here. While I agree with Pavel that the swing is the best overall choice for most people, for myself, as a person who had a back injury, I'd still pick the barbell deadlift. I like to be able to exercise control over a movement involving an injury, and one can't do that in the same way with a ballistic. It really took me years, during which I could deadlift just fine, to become comfortable with the kettlebell swing.
Of course, there are plenty of ways around my objection, the main one being simply to use a lighter weight for a longer period of time but, hey, what can I say? I love my deadlifts.

Isn't it a little bit incorrect, to compare directly barbell deadlift vs ketllebell swing?
It is possible to load more weight onto a barbell for a deadlift than you can swing a kettlebell.
I'd like to be corrected on this assumption, but for me the kettlebell is a way to make up for not having huge expensive equipment through using ballistics to increase the virtual weight of the bell.
I just recently compared my S&S programme using a 40kg weight to my friend's deadilfting programme using something like a 200 kg weight!!! Like, who is stronger? I wonder...
You have more strength-endurance than a deadlifter. You can, e.g. probably last longer in the boxing or MA ring than a pure strength athlete who does nothing else. What can I do being a kettlebell swinger that a deadlifter can't do?
I'd guess Pavel says it's the Zercher SquatI´m curious about the open ending on the best squat to go with the swings... Would it be swings + heavy low bar back squat?
Isn't it a little bit incorrect, to compare directly barbell deadlift vs ketllebell swing?
Pavel did those comparisons (IMO) with the general population in mind. The swing is a power movement. The deadlift is a strength movement. No sense comparing apples and oranges, if comparisons even are necessary per se. Apples are better, though.
Oh! I did not know that! You have more strength-endurance than a deadlifter. You can, e.g. probably last longer in the boxing or MA ring than a pure strength athlete who does nothing else.
