Fri 3/19

Grass run 1 hr
Quite humbling to go back to the mushy, lumpy grass for running, it's like trail running without the elevation. Definitely a nice leg stimulus working on soft and uneven terrain, happy the legs made an hour today with not much whining. :)
Working with another unplanned 21 hr. fast today, no problems..

Good Job!, 200 mace turns with 22 pounder! 60 pullups/180 pushups! I did roughly half those numbers on my birthday, and needed 3 days to recover. I'll be pleased with my progress, if by end of the summer, I can handle a 15 pounder.

Thanks man!

Mace is tool requiring a lot of patience, if you're patient it rewards you 10 times over. If I were you I'd keep building volume with the lighter weight until you absolutely own it.. any reps.. any time.. and with minimal warmup.. that was my criteria for going heavier. I started with the 13 pounder, then taped some ankle weights to the top of the ball as I got stronger.
The 22 lb'er is one I own now, and it keeps giving benefits, when I feel like it I swing heavier without worrying about injury. It's my workhorse for the foreseeable future.

Thurs 3/25

55 mins NS burpees
Totals
330 pushup
110 pullup
Setback today, was going to do 30 mins and felt so strong I kept going. Between burpees I run in place getting knees up and landing on forefoot, in the 53rd minute I felt the IT band start to hang up and should have stopped. On top of that I missed 25 mins HR recording when changing the music selection on my phone :/
Stupid is as stupid does ?
