With each exhale, try to get a little further than the last breathing cycle. When you feel you've gone as far as you can go, spend a little time there, several breath cycles, trying to relax and become more comfortable in the new range of motion.

@Brett Jones can expand on or correct that as necessary, I'm sure, and I hope he will.

Steve do you use the Bretzel 2.0 also?

I have been using it after the Bretzel. My bent presses and squats have been stronger lately, not sure if they a making a difference or not
 
I do not usually Brettzel 2.0. (Please note the double "z" as in @Brett Jones.)

That your Brettzel would help your bent press is not a surprise - that's great pairing.
