What's up all. I had my first poweflifting meet two weeks ago. On my second deadlift attempt my palm, about two inches below my little finger swelled up and looked bruised. I went on to crush my second and third attempt:

Anyways, I trained a few days after the meet. Some overhead barbell pressing, the bar pressed right on the bruise and it hurt, probably a 8/10. I took it easy on the pressing movements (by not doing them for probably 4 days). I benched and did some OHP after that and it seemed to be a lot better. Yesterday I did some heavy pulls and now it's pretty much back to where it was the day of the meet.
Question: do I keep pushing through it and let scar tissue go on my palm (if that's possible?) or do I only squat and do row/chin variations until the pain and bruising completely subside. I have Canadian Nationals in March and I want to get my numbers up.
