@NoahMarek and @pet' I am back at home since last Thursday after 10 weeks of therapy: how to stay away from the booze and being content. That demands attention and decisions towards change. It's a daily task for a lifetime. It is simple: stay away from the first gulp. Not easy.

happy with the front squat @85kg bw. Of course I had some bells with me on therapy. simple and sinister, snatching and a bit of endurance work until a cold hit me were a staple. For 13 weeks I did only single bell work.

@Harald Motz Congrats on committing to 10 weeks of therapy. Seriously, it makes me happy to hear when people choose it. Members of my family have struggled with substance abuse problems. It’s no fun and both had to go to rehab and be away for a while. I wish you the best with your journey away from drinking and towards things that bring you fulfillment.

Happy to have you back on here!

Congratulations on therapy! I've had friends who've been through it and there some of the strongest people I know. Much respect sir!

Great to have you back, and great to hear you've got your life on a better track. All the best to you.

The iron provides a good anchor. We're very glad to have you here to share your journeys, Harald!

@NoahMarek , @pet', @The Nail, @Timothy Friel, @Maine-ah KB, @Antti, @Shahaf Levin , @Anna C : thanks for your encouragements, much appreciated. I know, that I did the right thing to decide for myself to be getting on therapy to park the car on the one way alley of addiction. My task is to stay at the decision one day at a time not to get into that car again to start the engine. This road is a one way only, no chance to turn back.

Harald, any tips for getting the second bell off the ground in a two hands anyhow lift? I saw you doing them on YT and tried one. They're pretty tough.

besides that I am into two hands anyhow practice:

additionally I am fond of bent press practice.

Very impressive there with the bottom up clean and hold!
the hardest part is to get them into the hold position.

get your hand really deep into that handle, that it sits diagonally in your hand. then flex your hand hard (not just neutral wrist!) stay in contact to your body with your arm, pull your elbow back and curl and don't let the wrist extend.
