I know it’s all manly and stuff to eat lots of meat but once you really look into what creates the vast majority of diseases and health problems it starts to sound a lot more like Bevis and Butthead. Check this out for a very tiny example

Dietary Guidelines: From Dairies to Berries

The success story in Finland shows that science-based dietary guidelines can save millions of lives.

We could ask Mike Mahler. Or forget vegetarianism, how about vegans?

Yes, you will be likely to sacrifice a bit on “size” but the trade off is likely to be a much longer and healthier life.

Why is it so hard to quote a post to reply to?

In response to Geoffrey Levins remarks on eating meat: http://nutritionfacts.org/2013/11/14/avoid-carnitine-and-lethicin-supplements/

Regarding Medrano, I'd be a lot more impressed if his conversion to vegan wasn't so recent.

Very interesting thread, I've often wondered about PT's approach to nutrition, I know he claims not to be an expert on the matter but I'd think that's in comparison to his strength knowledge.

Someone else asked what a strong vegetable choice would be - would like to hear some nominations! (I just, like last week, made broccoli a regular at the meal table having never been close with veggies ever. I'm still not sure if I'm wasting my time and money - any veg is only as good as the ground it was grown in right? and what do we know about that really, nevermind promises of organic what-what)

SO, strong veg... Kale? spinach?
