Session B

Block A: 24kg 60NL
Block B: 20kg 78NL

Presses had to be perform in tall kneeling due to ceiling clearance. Hopefully I’ll get back to the basement soon.

Phase 2, W2D2

Session A

Block A: 20kg 28NL
Block B: 24kg 120 NL
Block C: 24kg 80NL

Horrible session today. Recover was not there for block 2 and also had to perform swings :15/:45. Even the cool down and stretching was lacking. Not sure why. I woke up feeling like I had a case of beer last night, which I had none of.

11/28/2020 Burn 2.0
Phase 2, W2D3

Session B

Block A: 24kg 72NL
Block B: 20kg 94NL
Block C: 24kg 128NL

Ahhh, felt much better today. Presses were strong all the way through. I have some old scar tissue in my big toe that is limiting the reverse lunges

11/30/2020 Burn 2.0
Phase 2, W3D1

Session A

Block A: 20kg 30NL
Block B: 24kg 132 NL
Block C: 24kg 120NL

is it at all possible to get more than 30 get ups in 15 minutes with as quickly as I go through the movements and maintain optimal stability? I guess we shall see

12/2/2020 Burn 2.0
Phase 2, W3D2

Session B

Block A: 24kg 78NL
Block B: 20kg 102 NL
Block C: 24kg 120NL

Next session I’m going to try Block A OTM for the presses. Big toe feels slightly better but reverse lunges are still unfavorable, especially for reps. I mean that in the most sincere way and they work too well. However, I only have 2 more sessions with them so I shall not complain.

Phase 2, W3D3

Session A

Block A: 24kg 16NL
Block B: 24kg 108NL
Block C: 28kg 100NL

I purposely did low volume today however I did increase the weight for Blocks A and C. Did not feel 100% this morning. My get ups were performed slowly and did doubles instead of triples. Bock C 1H swings were performed OTM.

12/7/2020 Burn 2.0

Session B

Block A: 24kg 84NL
Block B: 20kg 108 NL

High rep lunges again making the lungs burn.

Phase 2, W4D2

Session A

Block A: 20kg 30NL
Block B: 24kg 144 NL
Block C: No Finisher

The answer is no. I could not (or would not would be better to say) perform more than 30 TGUs without compromising form, control, etc. I'm going to use block A on Friday to test my RM with the 32kg for C&Ps.

12/11/2020 Burn 2.0
Phase 2 test day

C&P testing:
16kg BU press 3/3
24kg 2/2
28kg 1/1
32 TEST 3/3

Chin Up 6 reps

15 minutes of Snatch + Squat complex
24kg sets of 3

My press progressed from a sloppy single to a grinding triple. My chin ups also went from 3 to 6 reps all since I began Burn 2.0

12/14/2020 Burn 2.0
Phase 3, W1D

Session A

Block A: 28kg 30NL
Block B: 28kg 10 NL
Block C: 28kg 70NL

5RM snatches for block A. In the 4 years of exclusive KB practice, I tore my first callus on my Right side. I caught the bell too hard on the way down on the very last rep. Hand TLC tonight

12/17/2020 Burn 2.0
Phase 3, W1D

Session B

Block A: 24kg 30NL
Block B: 24kg 36 NL
Block C: 28kg 80NL

awesome! I love the flow of these sessions already. I’ve read around other forums that talk about getting nothing out of SLDLs. I have to politely disagree.
