Tomorrow is test day with 2x28 for Phase One. Today was general restorative, joint mobility type work that included OS resets, arm bar variations and 1/2 kneeling windmills for about 25-30 minutes. Just some resting activity.

20kg TGU -> Windmill x 2

Double C&P 16kgs x 5
Double C&P 20ks x 3
Double C&P 24kg x 2/1

TEST 28kgs 6 reps, half way up during 7th rep

8 weeks. 24 practice sessions. RM went from 4 solid to 6 solid reps and almost a 7th. Not bad at all! 50% increase!

Unfortunately, I am heading into a ridiculous couple of months with a lot of vacations scheduled, so my training is going to be sporadic and will more of a park bench mix of stuff.

Edit: 2nd day into the program. Between the FSQ and pulls ups from yesterday., my abs are on fire. This is even doing the ab wheeling after the STRONG sessions.

I am only going to perform 2 weeks of the Giant to relocate my single C&P groove before I start Victorious 1. IT calls for 7-10 RM and 1-3 RM. The 24kg is 12RM, The 28kg is BARELY at RM, so I think a few weeks of Giant with the 24 will do the trick.

You're still going strong after 3 years! congrats. I"m not reading your 27 page history ROFL so ask:

1. did you take any serious breaks? I'm not talking about the life getting in the way of 1or3 weeks, but consider(or forced)breaks for extended periods.
2. Is overall fitness/health still your goal? or are you focused on a particular activity and using this as your strength/power/endurance maintenance?

Thanks for inquiring. To answer your questions

1. I never took any extended breaks, but would greatly reduce the intensity to essentially zero periodically, meaning that i purposely worked on movement/mobility and not breaking a sweat

2. Generally, I go for overall fitness/health. it gives me energy throughout the rest of the day, it gives me the strength to maintain my house, and it gives me the mobility and endurance to keep up with my boys. This allows me to be pretty flexible where I can focus on learning and perfecting the Long cycle, clean&jerk, or the snatch, or the bent press. My current goal to press my 40kg bell that I have overhead and then go from there.
