Odd day for some reason. top of the pyramid and then the cascades down were more fatiguing and challenging today.

1H SN 5+5 EMOM for 5 minutes

extra tension required for the renegade rows, especially with pushing down on the stabilizing arm. There's nothing like a relatively heavy double clean.

I could only squeeze out one more rung for the 2nd block of TTC. I did manage to increase the load for the swings.

I was able to focus more on 1:1 work:rest on this one. Squat skills have improved.

I missed my alarm this morning; so as you noticed, I had to skip the swings today, and I'm not happy about it. I also very much so compressed the rest periods between sets, but still managed to safely get up to 6 then back down.

I think tomorrow, to make up for the swings, I am going to do a superset of 10 swings + Windmill L rest, then Right for 10 total sets using a light-ish weight.

It felt great to get 7, but the descent proved rather difficult today. Could not hit 6 reps but managed 2 sets of 5.

Here is the 5th set. Apparently I need to create more tension with the R sided renegade rows. Pretty obvious rotation there.

Took some time off from strength building and focused on a 14 day Ketobolic reset by Pat Flynn, and today was the last day. For the last 5 weeks, my wife has switched to a Keto diet, which basically means I'm on a keto diet as well and I felt my strength initially was affected by this.

On Monday, I plan on starting Clean Em Up from MKM by Geoff Neupert most likely using a pair of 16s and maybe sprinkle in a few sets with the 20s. This will be a 6 week program that I highly look forward to. After this, I plan on practicing the original Program Minimum of snatches and bent presses. Number one goal is to progress from 24kg to 32 kg for both lifts.

Medium volume

3 sets all with 16s

The load just about right towards the end. Even with the recommended 1:2 work:rest ratio, I was done in 12 minutes. I finished the practice session on loaded carries and mobility.

I'm travelling at the end of the day, and won't have my KBs tomorrow. Light day had to come after heavy day.
