Sat 23 Apr
Day 3 - Week 1
6 sets of 4 - double C&P 24 kg KB (24 total reps) - 30 minutes

Decidedly a light day - feeling sluggish. Auto-regulation and day 3 is light in program. A bit lighter than I had anticipated.
 
Wed 27 Apr
Day 2 - Week 2
7 sets of 6 - double C&P 24 kg KB (42 total reps) - 30 minutes

Same number of sets as last week… bummer but so it goes some days.
 
Sat 7 May
Day 3 - Week 3
9 sets of 4 - double C&P 24 kg KB (36 total reps) - 30 minutes

End of week 3. Next week is a bit of a de-load. My body needs it.

After week 4 that’ll complete my second run through The Giant 1.0. It was a different experience with the 24s vs the 16s. Sturdy.

The first and final set of each workout are always the hardest.
The first because your musculoskeletal structure is getting the groove of the movement and load. The last because of fatigue… Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Are you planning on continuing with Giant?

Agreed on first and last set being the hardest, I definitely get a second wind around the 2/3 mark as well. It’s not even that they’re easier they just feel more automatic when you hit that groove.

I am, but the timing is a bit tricky, as I have some travel plans...
So right now, I am thinking about doing Simple for a couple of weeks during the travel disruption, and then doing another The Giant for 4 weeks. Likely 1.1?
 
I went to 2.0 based upon Grahills advice, glad I did because the 7s and 8s are brutal. The ladders helped me keep volume for sure.

Closed out second go of the Giant 1.0
Going to do another Giant but travel is going to mess with things. Thinking Timeless Simple for 2 weeks and then back to another Giant.

Doing simple for the next 2 weeks before I jump back on The Giant.

10 TGU (5 left & 5 right)

It’s hard to believe that I accomplished the Timed standard about 4 months ago…
It took a lot longer to reacquaint myself and get through this.

Well that was a ridiculous workout hiatus. Health, travel, and excuses have set me back.

Getting back into it.

100 1h swings broken in to 10 on-the-minute
10 TGU (5 left & 5 right).

The world hasn’t been feeling great as of late… hopefully exercise helps. It never hurts.
