Kettlebell Clean and Press Tips

Hello Everybody,

I wanted to start a thread on some clean and press or military press tips. Something that has helped me was kicking my hip over a little to get under the bell. Something else was remembering that the clean sets the tone for the press. If your clean is messy, you can expect your press to be shaky and unstable.

On the military press, after the first rep while lowering for the second rep you should compress your body with tension like pushing a spring down and then release the tension into the second rep.

Finish the clean loaded and ready to press - lat, abs, down to the feet, etc...

Press from the elbow - the elbow stays stacked under the weight

Probably one of the biggest areas - just because it went up doesn't mean it was a good press- watch Fabio Zonin press to see great integrity in pressing form
