A PR and my goal for the end of 1.2 lol. I forget how much easier PRs come from when I’m on a caloric free for all. Felt strong, like 11 was a possibility if I YOLOed a bit more.

One round PR! I went for my stretch goal of 15 and thought I could have it but burned out hard around the 20 minute mark. It was my lungs that was the limiter, which makes me feel good about my strength gains. It also means if I was consistent on my cardio I might have hit the 15. Still happy with hitting my goal. Quick workout today, no time for the accessories.

Another PR!! I’m liking this sudden boost of PRs. Taking my wife out for her birthday to a churrascaria and feeling like I earned my meat coma today.

Mulling over plans to add squats into the next cycle. I’m still not being consistent with my cardio despite my title and want to try and see if squats can spark the same joy kettlebell C&P has been.

Holy s***, another PR. I can’t remember the last time I had PRs an entire week. From my log it looks like week 3 in 1.0

My stretch goal for this round was 10 by the end of 1.2, so that’s obviously been blown out of the water. I’m resetting to 12 and 13 for a stretch. The pacing is going to be rough, but with how well 1.1 went YOLO

Tied the last workout as the 7s move from D3 to D1 and got a repeat. Felt pretty strong but also pretty wiped out. D2 is gonna be fun.

Good opening for the 9s. At round 5 I was wishing I had paced for 7, but then the sixth round was pretty difficult and I was okay with my pacing. Goal of 8, stretch goal of 10.

I bought a seated rower from Titan, excited to play around with it. Going to follow the same progression as my accessories for a little bit and decide how I want to treat it moving forward.

Blitz Bike 32 Cals

One round PR on the 8's, it felt cake until 2 left and then really became a grind. Tricep extensions are really feeling more difficult in 1.2 than they did in 1.1, seeing a pretty big dip in my reps.

I started Garage Athlete's Fan Bike Program with the LISS days being on the BikeErg and the other days on the Blitz bike. I haven't ever ran an actual program for these, hopefully it solves my cardio woes. Not looking forward to some of these 30 minutes of sprint intervals days.

The 11 rounds is feeling pretty good, for some reason my fixation on my left felt shallow to start. Focused on it a bit more on dialing throughout the sets. I think I’m going to push for 12 next week if I feel it.

Tied again, went out pacing for 10 but it wasn’t a possibility. 10 is looking pretty difficult right now, but maybe the Giant magic will make it happen. I hadn’t done accessories all week due to time constraints and my elbow creaking during warmups went away. Thinking the extensions might have been too much so I’m going to lay off them until I finish 1.2 at least.

I came out pacing for my 12 round goal, but I redlined pretty hard at 15. My last two reps were super grindy and I knew I couldn’t keep up the pace. Every 2:30 might be a bridge too far, but I’ll give it a shot on my final go next week.

Lost a round, ending the first week in a long while with a lower weekly total than the prior week. Excited to hit the final week next week, I think I’m going to have to be strategic in this though, I doubt I can PR all three rep ranges. Going to increase the accessories resistance as well, feeling good there even though I haven’t been able to squeeze them in often in 1.2

f***!! I was pacing for a PR at 8, but my forearms started to blow up and after the seventh I wasn’t able to get my grip back in time. Going from 7 in 30 to 7 in 25 is a PR of sorts just not the one I was hoping for. I don’t want to add too many accessories in, but I might need to do some forearm work of some sort. Too bad my rower won’t accept thicc grips. One last day to attempt/get a PR.

Tied my PR, but I’m happy with it. Another fun run of Giant. I decided to stack my cardio on today so I can go out and celebrate a conclusion to Giant, my newb gains on the bike are nice. It’s funny how much it sucks at the start and then slowly wanes until I’m almost in a state of apathy.

Hit my opening round goal!! Felt really good, didn’t feel like my lungs were an issue with the pacing. This is my first time using comp bells for a heavy work set in over a decade, since I did Girevoy sport. Going from the 40mm handle to the 35 was an adjustment, especially on the swing. Also had to adjust my rack and mashed my fingers pretty bad on one of my first catches. But 40 rounds later and it was feeling good.

Goal of 43 rounds, stretch goal of 45.

Might do my LISS tonight, I’m doing a churrascaria date night so I need to justify all the picanha.
