Hey all,
I'm quite frustrated..I was really on tracks just entering the 10th week in S&S (1st & last set with 16kg, all the others with 24kg) a month ago.
Things happen, and I didnt do even one swing or TGU this whole month.
Now, how to I get back to it? from the point I have stopped?
Thanks for everything
Ariel

I would do a session with just 16kg and then add a set with 24kg next time. If it feels ok, add another set with 24kg the next time. You dont have to go through the same process you did before your break. You can most likely catch up to where you left rather quickly, but just do a few light sessions first.

Thanks! that sounds good and manageable, and encouraging too.

Don't get frustrated. You completed 9 weeks straight, that's an accomplishment. Life gets in the way for all of us. The most important thing is to keep forging ahead with your goals. So get back to it with the 16 kg and you'll be making progress in no time.

Success is not a linear path.

The beginning of the book has a great section that can be applied to this.
Look in the chapter about using too light of weight. Start with something that you think you can do, but don't dally with the step progression if it is too easy. Regaining lost ground is a ton quicker than forging it the first time.
