I started incorporating some OS resets on my recovery days. I notice that sometimes my hips and lower back crack when I am crawling (I just started and have never crawled before, bear in mind). Is this normal? There is no pain.

That's a question for your doctor or other medical professional. My joints have cracked all my life - ankles, hips, wrists, elbows, you name it. It's never been an issue and no doctor has ever found it cause for concern.

But if you haven't asked before, then I would at least once.

I had to chuckle when I saw this thread. When I do certain Original Strength rolls my spine literally sounds like popcorn. No pain, mind you, and it actually feels good, like a sort of “release”.

Sure scared the crap out of me at first, however.

I checked with my chiro and he said if there’s no pain, don’t sweat it.

Of course, Steve is right, make sure your Doc finds no problem with it.

For me, it goes away over time.

My left hip and left side lower back consistently do the same during crawling. Actually does feel good. Also discussed with my chiro, no concerns.

Just an update, after about a month of crawling, the cracking is few and far between. Body was probably not used to it and fixing itself :)
