Quick history. I've completed S&S for 250 sessions (it took 1-Year) Very pleased with the results. 53 years old with a curved acromion right shoulder that required a cortisone injection to resolve. From Return of the Kettlebell book, Dan John's program has interested me Double c+p, double swings, farmers carries. Since his program was designed for people competing in sports it was only 3x/week. Since I'm not competing in a sport I'm debating if I can perform his program 4 or 5x/week. Also, I have modified the c+p to 5x5 all three days and farmer carries for 30seconds for 10 sets paired-up with double swings 10x10. Any advice would be appreciated since I've been programmed to follow a program to the letter without modification.
