I think a lot of it depends on your conditioning state and also the bell size. When I started SS I used a 16kg and EMOM worked fine but when I progressed to a 24kg I found I needed more time in order to maintain my form especially when I went to 1H swings. I also doubled the TGU time to 2 minutes per rep. Lately I've been wearing a HR monitor and trying to stay in the Maffetone range. The time seems to vary from day to day depending on how much sleep I got the night before, stress, energy levels, etc.

That's a great point. I've hit simple, but for regular (non-testing) training I can't go much below 1:15 intervals on the one hand swing with the 32k. Get-up is even higher, at about 3:30 - 4:00.

I'm currently building/learning the snatch. I wonder if several cycles of A+A will change these day to day limits any? I can't wait to find out.
