Bodyweight Fighter Push-up Program

To my knowledge there isn't anything like the FPP for push ups. However, the hit the deck program and others from naked warrior are effective for push ups.
 
Mike Perry at Skill of Strength was doing some experiments with this at one point. I’ve heard him talk about it, but I don’t know if he ever wrote anything down.
 
Long ago on a different forum Pavel T commented that it should work for other exercises.

I was doing it with dips for a while but on a three/week schedule and that seemed to work well.
 
I do it for push-ups. I have also used it for running.

To summarize my contribution in these two threads and my experiences:

  1. the volume of push-ups is high and I can only do it for 3 weeks at a time before my elbows start to get sore
  2. GTG style works better for me
My training log has an example of using it for running
