I managed my first one today (yaaaay!), but I'm afraid I might not be doing it correctly. I considered asking in a gymnastics forum, but I feel like their advice will be about ideal/perfect/pristine competition form which is impractical and usually unattainable to those who aren't in gymnastics. One time I asked about Hanging Leg Raises, and if your head wasn't pretty much by the knees (aka full compression), then it sucked! So I was hoping someone here had some experience on it, maybe Karen? Not sure if Shank posts here, but I also know he's gotten involved with bringing HS presses to trainees without gymnastics background. Anyone with some experience would be great!



Anyways, thanks for any possible help! I'm sure I'm making a ton of mistakes. I was mainly focused on locking my elbows and knees, bringing my hips up, and making the transition slow (not jumping), so hopefully all of that was good!
