Barbell Floor Press Believer

I’ve never seen a floor press performed without a rack before. I’m not even sure, given the camera position, how you got that weight up. I’m impressed!

For the past year and a half, that was nearly the only way I could press due to

I actually prefer to start floor presses this way as it’s not as difficult as unracking a heavy weight…I press towards my head so to get to that extreme pullover position where the rack isn’t clear is annoying and a handoff just throws me off balance unless done perfectly.

yeah, the lighting is bad too, makes it hard to see. Basically I did an explosive glute bridge and while it was floating kind of guide it to where I want. I suppose at some point my ability to bump the weight into position will limit my progression. However, when covid is all the way over (probably next year, in the country where I live) I'll go back to a regular gym and have access to a bench and a rack again.

Or maybe I'll buy one, lifting at home is great.
