Kettlebell General question on block duration

Well... there's no real reason to actually split it in blocks unless you are an advanced trainee, i.e. you are aiming for world class performance cause then you might need different strategies. Almost noone else needs that complication in their life, unless its for entertainment purposes.

Here's an example day:
Warm up 5min flow
3+3 lunges (backward) with arms over your head
3-5 Goblet Squats (5seconds down, 5 seconds up) or 3-5 halos.
3 One Leg Deadlift
Repeat 2-3 laps.

Clean and Press 3x1,2,3,4,5
2hand swings 10rep OTM total 100@10min

Or...
Ascending weight get ups, to a comfortably heavy get up.
Ie. 1TGU left+right 16, 24,32 (felt heavy, not comfortable doing 40) done.
Do 10 swings between get ups.
Then do the main training for the day.

I don't know, I'd argue that the more advanced you get the less block training does for you. The sweet spot is in that intermediate stage IMO. Beginning stages you can just do everything because you can't lift heavy enough to really tax your system yet. When you get advanced those blocks need to start looking longer and longer until they look less like blocks and more like walls.

(I'm thinking of advanced as "spent a long time focusing on one thing that it takes a lot of effort to continue advancing")

Oh my... that pretty much *is* my main training for the day.

Going by the "60 presses is optimal for strength" - that's 20 -25 min max.
Or...
100 swings A&A style - also about 22 minute.
Some warmup (elephant walk, dead bugs, goblet squats, halos) and we're done in 35 minutes. Hopefully...

Well then, thats it! repeat untill you can do more ;)

Press your presses, swing your swings. Rest. Press, swing rest? Should keep fatigue pretty low? And ve about the same time-frame

Ummm..
That'll need to wait till I retire :)

So integrate both each day... personally, I prefer to focus.

But my more fundamental question is:
1 year from now - given time constraints- what approach will get me the strongest and most limber??

Right now I'm doing Giant with a 12k which is my 10 rm. I'd like to get to 20k in a year. Ultimate goal: 24k C&P
Swings: 1H 24; 2H 32. I want to get solid 1H32 in a year.
GetUp - overcome technical problems and be very comfortable with 16 or 20k.

Following year: start to learn/become competent in the snatch.
