You may have wondered why one might choose deadlifting over squatting or vice versa. I dare say that if you train others with a barbell, or lift a barbell yourself, you _need_ to watch this 10-minute video from FMS founder and movement expert Gray Cook.

Thanks, Pavel. I have always felt better loading my deadlift heavy than my squat, and this video explained why to me.

After I watched the video, I decided I need to put deadlifts into my variety days, and I am very happy that I did. There's nothing quite like a bit of weight on the bar coming off the ground.
