I've just purchased Reload the latest programming offering from Pavel and Fabio.

Within the recommended mid section exercises, is hardstyle sit backs.

I've not heard of these before, anyone know what they are and how to perform them?

P.s Since I don't know what they are, this could be the wrong place in the forum for this post.

a) Featured in Hardstyle Abs book and DVd
b) Taught at StrongFirst Bodyweight course and SFB Bodyweight Cert

Has anyone who works with older adults tried this in a chair? I have found some success this way, as I deal with some individuals who struggle to get to the ground and back up. It seems to be the best option I've found so far to practice anti-extension from a chair. I don't cue the "power breathing" to the degree taught in the SFB (most of my students have high BP or cardiac issues), but I'd love to hear others' opinions on if they use this drill, or any others for beneficial chair based core work.

Seated "Cross Crawling" from the OS system might be useful.
Otherwise, unless an individual is bound to the chair, walking around taking deep breaths might be the best "core" exercise respecting the scope of a personal trainer.

Also, this video might be helpful:
