You could go to Mississippi and visit @WxHerk , see if he would part with any of his.hi, i am looking for a pile of old rust kettlebells, i cant afford to buy new ones, and i like to restore old things to their old glory, and what better thing to restore than an old-school kettlebell. anybody know were i could possible find something like that.
Ahhh, but an old kettlebell’s rust tells a story. My bells look like uhhhhhh…..heck because their rust is “sweat rust.” Training outdoors in the Mississippi heat & humidity has taken its toll on my bells’ appearance. So, @ronald , if you do find a rusty old bell or three, please just restore the handle if it needs it. OmwIf you live in the midwest and want to come get one, I have a couple decorating my backyard. They aren't good KBs so you won't exactly be restoring anything to "old glory".
Facebook Marketplace, local buy-and-sell groups in your area on Facebook, craiglist.org.hi, i am looking for a pile of old rust kettlebells, i cant afford to buy new ones, and i like to restore old things to their old glory, and what better thing to restore than an old-school kettlebell. anybody know were i could possible find something like that.
i'm located in Canada, Manitoba. but ill check out the places you recommended. thanks very muchI'm not sure where you are located, so I am speaking from a U.S. perspective. I would suggest contacting a few local used sports equipment stores. One example would be "Play it Again"; https://www.playitagainsports.com/products/8064/kettlebells
Or, scrounge local facebook or craigslist type places. Infrequently you can find a decent deal on well known brands of good equipment, oftentimes for pennies on the dollar.
haha, ya i want some that look old school, but i still want to train with them. i like that old school rusty look.If you live in the midwest and want to come get one, I have a couple decorating my backyard. They aren't good KBs so you won't exactly be restoring anything to "old glory".
yes, thats what i want, something i want to use, a lot, i like to train out side, thats why i want to old ones, no rubber coating, old school. i like the look of an old barn or garage style gym, with a corner full of old school kettlebells that have been through some s***.Ahhh, but an old kettlebell’s rust tells a story. Step One: acquire kettlebellsyes, thats what i want, something i want to use, a lot, i like to train out side, thats why i want to old ones, no rubber coating, old school. i like the look of an old barn or garage style gym, with a corner full of old school kettlebells that have been through some s***.
My first two kettlebells were a pair of 24KG’s I ordered from Agatsu about 17 years ago. I gave one to a friend opening a CrossFit gym. The other I still have and use every week for something. I think they are in Quebec though, so that’s probably a bit far for you. But a decent enough brand. You should keep an eye out for them as I could see them being around up there.i'm located in Canada, Manitoba. but ill check out the places you recommended. thanks very much
