Great stuff Jeff. You are giving me plenty to think about. I like the idea of the 6-9 rep range. I just plugged my numbers into the 5/3/1 program and was going to run that, but ya got me thinking....

I've been following the triple progression for my KB press for the last month and went from a consistent 28kg for a double to a consistent 32kg press for a single. it's simple and effective method of getting stronger.

What ive been up to for an example

Main day
Presses for whatever portion of 5x5 im on
Assistance (either pushups/rows or dips/pullups)

optional day
light presses for like 3x3
assistance

I've been kb snatching on alternate days following another program. I believe Mr. Reifkind said you could train 2 lifts effectively in this manner.
