Background
Obviously, Epictetus isn't my name but is one of my favorite philosophers.
I've been training with Pavel's methods off and on for about 10 years. What draws me to Pavel and StrongFirst is the simplicity of his programs and the focus on 'usable' strength. I'm a big believer in GPP and extremely safe strength training. Joints and mobility over everything else. For me numbers are arbitrary and movement quality/form is of the utmost importance. I don't want to grow old with aches and joint replacements from being a ego maniac in the gym. I exercise so I can live a long and healthy life barring accident/unforeseen circumstances, it's not my be all end all.
Current Programming
My current program is the Rite of Passage from Enter the Kettlebell. I've run many versions of this program, always keeping to the RoP principles.
