John Paul Sigmarsson was an Iclandic elite Strongman, Powerlifter, and Highland Games Champion who is famously quoted for saying "There is no reason to be alive if you cannot do deadlift". If you are not healthy enough to pick things up off the floor, a basic human task, that must be terrible.
Ironically he died, while deadlifting, in his gym from a congenital heart defect at the young age of 33. He died doing what he loved, if you have to go that's the best you can hope for.
