Hey Folks, When I saw the compilation on IG with my old courage corner that I have posted here I thought I'd say "Hi" and give you an update.

Got a few more bells in the meantime and the whiteboard got bigger. Got rid of the mace, the clubs and the TRX is stored away and might go to Ebay soon.

I just got a 2nd 20kg bell. I recently got a 2nd 24, but the wide stance needed has thrown me off a bit. My 20kg is much smaller in diameter and so I took a gamble and bought another one, and despite being a different brand, its the same size. I should be able to start working some swings and ultimately clean and press in now.
Lots of overtime lately, and I normally don’t work any, so, I bought myself a 2nd 32kg bell. No chance I can press 2 x 32 yet, but while the money is there I may as well plan ahead! I can now clean and push press 2x24, so I want to keep going til I get to 2x32. Seems like a million years away but slowly slowly chipping away seems to work.

2nd 32 arrived. I wouldn’t even bother attempting anything with 2x32 at the moment. Currently push pressing 2x24, which is going well, though I still think I’m at least 6 months away from even cleaning the 2x32, maybe a year. Good motivation seeing them judging me while I use 2x24 haha.

Honestly can’t see myself ever needing a heavier pair of bells. I do have a single 36kg, but I think If I ever needed more weight, I’d get a single 40kg. That’d be years from now though, if ever !

Nice looking bells.
If you can get 10+ reps with the 24s you should give it go. Or perhaps try 24+32 instead.
Humbling but motivating at the same time.

An update to ours. Two 8” x 8” x 18” cinder blocks and one piece of 2” x 8” lumber cut with a 1” overlap on each side. Floor has singles at 36, 40, 44, 48, 56 and 64 kg; shelf has pairs at 16, 20, 24, and 28 kg and a single 32.

EDIT: The image didn't upload - here you go.

No pics yet but I just bought 2x28kg bells. Currently use 2x24, and while I do have 2x32, I’m not ready for them yet. Found some on sale on just bought them haha

Bit envious of those bars Steve. I’m still persevering with an el-cheapo atm. Spose you don’t know what you’re missing if you’ve never had anything else.

You're not missing much if you don't compete and even then, you're still not missing much.

10 years in the making and I had to add a second storey to my house before my wife let me take over the basement lol

We recently went under contract on our house and going to live from suitcases for a while, so my courage corner is going away. Going to miss it…

Had to stand back to get the picture, so some things that may not be obvious, l to r: parallettes, Indian clubs, Escrima sticks, bag of clean towels, dip belt for weighted pull-ups, box on the wall that I use for step ups and for adjusting leverage on bw exercises, v-Force weighted vest behind the bike, pull-up bar with rings and jungle gym. And of course more kettlebells than I need, but just accumulated them...
We actually use the garage for cars. So except for the red mat on the floor, everything is pictured where it normally lives. Back out a car, put down the mat, and I’m in the gym.

Had some good times in here.
