Message to everyone: keep your health, it's much easier to maintain it than regain it!

You may notice the subtle background message of the "older" of us here at SF: "strong, but healthy". This attitude is largely driving the interest of experimenting with A+A-style swings.
 
Al, yes I come here for affirmation and information, and I follow S&S with cycling because I'm a believer. I posted some of my history to help other people see from my experience, as I did in the "heart rate monitor" thread. I'm just "older," and not at SF, but I've had my share of ups and downs, and the A+A-style swings definitely counts as one of my ups! Thanks for all the info and encouragement.
