Does somebody have any idea on how i can compare kettlebell swings and turkish get ups with say Barbell deadlift and bench press? Lets say i can do 10 full Turkish get ups with a 20 kg kettlebell. How would you compare that with a benchpress or deadlift?Is it possible?

Hello,

@Reubenz
+1 @Steve Freides

Some articles exist on the topic:

Kettlebells and Deadlifts Go Together Like Vodka and Pickles

However, the best is to test yourself. Some people are more "swing prolific" or "deadlift prolific" than others due to different techniques. Everything is "relative". The numerical equivalence is personal. There is no rule which says "1H / 2H swings @ x kg for y sets of z reps equal x' kg of a deadlift"

Kind regards,

@Reubenz Practicing the kettlebell lifts will definitely assist and improve your barbell work, although the only proven way to quantify it is ...."What the hell!?" Kettlebell training just makes everything else better. Welcome to the forum....
