Lady Strong!

Despite I have been resting all weekend I felt really tired on Monday morning. I hardly did my presses in the morning and went home - to sleep. It is definitely time for deload.

Monday morning:
-
presses, medium day: 18kg: (1-2-3)x7

Afternoon:
-
superset: Stephen King + ice cream + cat on my lap

Yesterday I did nothing and today I went through mobility session only. Feeling better right now.

Thursday session, deload:

- "Escape Your Fighting Stance"
- presses, 18kg: (1-2-3)x4
- massage, 2hours

Saturday, still deload:

- Escape Your Fighting Stance"
- windmills, 3x5, 12kg
- presses, 18kg: (1-2-3)x3
- assisted pull-ups: 5x5
- stretching

I hope that next week will be better, looking forward it!

Wednesday - rest day.

Today's practice, afternoon:

- Super-Joints
- presses, hard day (after deload week): (1-2-3)x11

Presses took me 2,5 hours today (with rest of course). The hardest part is always a triple on the left side.

2 hours later:
- assisted pull-ups: 4x5
- assisted pistols: 3x5

Today's evening practice:

- foam rolling and Super-Joints
- "Escape Your Fighting Stance"
- one hand swings, 16kg: 10x10
- get-ups, 16kg x5
- stretching for side splits

Today was my 200 training this year, so far so god!

Two days of rest (from work, not from training), ahead of me. I am going to spent some time on my photographic project = calendar for 2018 with my instructors, can't wait!

Weekend was kind of lazy and relaxing. I enjoyed simple thing like editing photos and listening soundtrack from original Blade Runner. I took it easy with training.

Saturday:

- presses, light day, 18kg: (1-2-3)x5
- pull-ups: (1-2-3)x3
- pistols practice

Monday practice, afternoon:

- foam rolling, Super-Joints
- mobility: "Escape Your Fighting Stance" plus windmills, cossacks, Jefferson Curl
- presses, medium day (for the last time), 18kg: (1-2-3)x7

2 hours later:
- pull ups: (1-2-3)x2, assisted: (4-5)x2

"Winter is coming" so my body somehow prefers to train in the afternoon. In the morning I am hungry and cold, which is really bad combination ;-)

Today's traning, in the morning:

- presses, the heaviest day of 8 months pressing program, 18kg: (1-2-3)x12

Afternnon:
- pull ups: (1-2-3)x4
- longer stretching and breathing

I have tight psoas ("muscle of the soul") so I needed to concentrate hard during presses today. Stretching, breathing and relaxing is my main focus right now.

Saturday's training:

- Super-Joints
- presses, light day, 18kg: (1-2-3)x5
- stretching and mobility

I have already finished my pressing program so I am taking two days of rets and testing my max on Tuesday, looking forward it.

Today’s testing didn’t go as I expected, maybe it wasn’t my day. Presses:
  • 22kg: 0
  • 20kg: left x1 (same as the last time), right x3 (1 rep more)
  • 18kg: left x6 (1 rep more), right x8 (1 rep less).
In the end - it is not about numbers, it is about journey, so I will continue pressing.

Today's training:

- foam rolling
- "Escape Your Fighting Stance"
- windmills plus get-ups: 16,16,20,20,20kg
- double push press: 2x12kg, 3x5
- double jerks: 2x12kg, 3x5
- snatches (after one year!), 16kg: (5+5)x8

Let the preparation for SFG recert (in two weeks) begin!

Nice snatches, Justyna! The right side is just beautiful, love the lockout. Left side lockout looks a little less stable but still looks fine. I watched in slow motion and noticed that in the bottom of the snatch, the hinge, the hips look a little loose. Do you think a tighter feeling there would help? For me it helps come up with more springiness, more power. Definitely seems to help me with heavier weight.

I know you will do great with your recert!

Thank you @Anna C for your comment!

Yes, left side was always a little "behind", you are a good observer! I will work on that, I didn't snatch for months, so give me few sessions :)

Last few days my schedule is everything but not order.

Friday - photo session, 3hours almost in a row, so that was intense. I did a lot of snatches, double swings, presses, deadlifts and squats - you can call it variety day. Btw., I am not sure on which side of camera I prefer to be.

Sunday - mobility work.

I am on intense workshop all week, so today I did my training instead of my lunch brake:

- get-ups: 20kg x5
- goblet squats: 20kg 5x5
- pull-ups: 5,5,3,3,2,2 = 20 reps total
- presses, 12kg 5x5
- two hand swings, 20kg 5x10
- cold shower and coffee to go!

Today's training, at the evening:

- foam rolling, Super-Joints
- "Escape Your Fighting Stance"
- presses, bent presses and windmills - all with 16kg, doubles and triples, few series - I am playing with it
- snatches: 12kg, (8+8) x7
- stretching for side splits

Today's training helped me to clean my head, feeling refreshed after it.

Friday's training:

- Super-Joints
- presses, 12kg: 5x5
- pull-ups: (1-2)x7
- snatches, 12kg (8+8)x8

Saturday: TSC - not taking part, taking pictures

Today's training:

- Super-Joints
- "Escape Your Fighting Stance"
- (windmills and bent press): 3x3, with 12 and 16kg
- presses, 18kg: (1-2-3)x3
- pull-ups: (1-2-3)x3
- snatches, 12kg: (9+9)x7

Last week I had only 3 light training sessions, but it's OK - I don't mind having a deload. Recertification is on Thursday, SFG - this weekend in our gym, looking forward to it!
