Lady Strong!

Wednesday: physiotherapy - not feeling well afterwards, no training at all.

Thursday:
  • mobility drills
  • get-ups: 16, 20, 16, 20, 20kg
  • pull-ups: 1-2-3-4, 1-2-3-3, 1-2-3 (25reps)
  • face pulls, L-ist, crawling
  • stretching - in the afternoon
It is good to be back at gym! However, I feel tired this week... trying to get used to waking up at 5am. :)

Monday, last week:
  • mobility drills
  • get-ups: 16kg x3
  • pull-ups: 1-2, 1-2, 1-.2
  • FSQ, 40kg: 3x3
  • Good Morning, 40kg 3x3
Feeling tired, completely lack of energy. Last days I feel pain in my back - something doesn't seems right. I am going to take a few days off, deload seems like a good idea. They closed our gym again (it's a third lockdown this year), so I decided to go to Poland. I feel that I need to step back for a moment, there was too much stress lately.

Enjoy your break and I hope you enjoy your holidays!

Wednesday:
  • Original Strength
  • Get-Ups: 16kg x5
  • some power swings alternate with front squat: 16kg
  • hanging on the bar + knee raises
Thursday:

Long walk. I needed some time alone. I gotta say that at first spending time alone was challenging for me but somehow I get used to it. Even more - I started to enjoy my own company.

At the evening - jogging. And that was a beautiful finish of the year! Plus - no drinking & going to sleep early! ;-)

Short summary of 2020:

when talking about training... I had more han 150 trainings this year. I had better years (when looking at numbers), but this is not what is important. Important for me is to have a healthy body (and mind), ready for life's challenges.

when talking about life... hard year but important one. Somehow I find a way to myself, hopefully I will stay on track! :)

Starting New Year with snow, wind and fresh air! Feeling happy and alive.

Honestly I am not a big fun of New Year's resolutions. I prefer to focus more on attitude than on things I want to accomplish:
  • doing what makes me feel alive
  • spending time with people who inspire me and brings out the best in me
  • experiences over things
  • be honest (with others and mostly with myself)
  • appreciate small things & gestures
  • life here & now
  • be grateful
  • care for people without expectation.
Simple but not easy!

Today's training:
  • morning recharge
  • push-ups: 9x3reps
  • front squats 16kg 6x3reps
  • chin-ups: active negative
  • non hanging leg raises (in a doorway): 6x5reps
  • jogging: 5km - at first I didn't want to go out because of the weather, but in the end it wasn't so bad! :)
